Build a new part number

Each sheet offers its own classes; the sheet's note says which are inactive for new design.

Shell and coupling ring material (MIL-DTL-5015H 6.6.2.1): blank for aluminum alloy, S for stainless steel, T for class K ferrous alloy.

Picking an insert arrangement above sets this automatically — or choose a shell size here first to narrow the arrangement picker.

Hermetic class H receptacles only (MS3142): a letter in place of the dash, C solder cup or Y eyelet.

The normal position takes no letter. An alternate position turns the insert inside the shell; which ones an arrangement has, and by how many degrees, comes from MIL-STD-1651.

    Parts list

Tick “Add to parts list” next to any part number above: the connector, its contacts, a mate or an accessory, as you build other connectors. Contact quantities are for one connector; edit the quantity for more. The list clears on reload — copy or download it before you leave the page.

    No parts yet.

Copy list gives part number, quantity and description separated by tabs, for a spreadsheet or a distributor’s paste-a-list form. The CSV has the same columns with a header row.

Check every part number and quantity against the current specification before you buy. Neither this site nor Newark is responsible for errors in generated part numbers; see Part numbers and purchases.
